Cortland Crush Baseball is an independent, fan-run journal covering the Crush and the amateur and collegiate summer-league scene around Cortland County. We are not the team, the league or any official governing body, and nothing here should be read as an official statement from them.
When you send a tip, a photo or a correction, you confirm the material is yours to share or that you have permission from whoever holds the rights. We may edit submissions for clarity, length and accuracy, and we may hold a note until we can verify it against a second source.
Keep discussion on the game. Critique a decision, a lineup or a pitching change if you want, but personal attacks on players, coaches, umpires or other readers are removed. So is anything off-topic, repeated after a warning, or aimed at turning a thread into a fight.
When new verified information arrives, we update the post and add a dated correction note at the bottom rather than quietly rewriting the original. If a box score or a name was wrong, the fix stays visible so readers can see what changed.
This journal covers community baseball storytelling only. We do not publish adult content, gambling or betting material, wagering advice, forex or trading commentary, profit schemes or quick-money pitches. Submissions in those areas are declined without discussion.
