This is the intake point for the journal. If a box score looks off, a pitching line does not match what you saw from the bleachers, or your youth squad has a tournament or makeup game worth covering, start here and we will take it from there.

How to reach the desk

The support desk is the intake point for this journal. Send a tip about an upcoming series, a photo from a local game, or a scorebook correction when a box score or pitching line looks off. Youth coaches and parents can request coverage for tournaments, rain-delay makeups and travel weekends. We do not handle ticket sales, player contracts or league disputes, so those go straight to the team or league office.

Call with a quick note

If a game is happening right now and the details are time-sensitive, a short call works better than a long email. Leave the score, the inning and a callback number.

Printed scorebooks, photo prints and written corrections can be sent by post. Include a return address if you want the material back.

What to include

Team names, date and final score, even if the game is still in progress.
Photos with a location, date and a short permission note from whoever took them.
For corrections: the inning, the play and what the official scorebook actually shows.

Response times

Email replies usually go out within a few days, longer during a busy series weekend.
Scorebook corrections are checked against the original book and the official league posting before anything changes.
Photos and coverage requests are reviewed in the order they arrive, so send early for a weekend series.

The support desk is where the journal actually starts. If you saw a play that changed a game, caught a photo worth keeping, or spotted a pitching line that does not match the book, this is the place to send it. Coaches and parents can also flag a tournament, a makeup date or a travel weekend that deserves coverage.

Every submission gets checked against the original scorebook, the official league posting and a second source before anything runs. Photos need a location, a date and a note that you have permission to share them. Corrections get logged and mentioned in the next recap so the record stays straight.

What the desk does not handle

Ticket sales, player contracts and league disputes go to the team or the league office. We can point you in the right direction, but we cannot resolve those here.

Replies come by email, usually within a few days. If your note is time-sensitive, say so in the subject line.
