A few ground rules keep the coverage honest and the schedule manageable. Read these first, then reach out with your roster and dates.
We write recaps, spotlights and previews the way a beat reporter would. That means we call games as they happen, including the errors and the lopsided innings. We do not publish sponsored game stories or paid standings placements.
Scorebooks get messy in the seventh inning. If a pitching line, an RBI or a substitution is wrong, send the correction with the inning and the at-bat. We update the post and note the change at the bottom.
Season-long coverage starts with three things: a current roster with jersey numbers, the full game schedule with start times, and one person we can text when a game moves. Without those, we cannot plan a coverage window.
We only run photos of players when the team or the family has given the go-ahead. If a parent asks us to pull an image, we pull it. Coaches usually handle this in one message before the first game.
This journal does not publish odds, lines, picks or anything tied to wagering. We cover amateur and summer collegiate baseball as a community story, and that boundary does not move for anyone.
We are a small fan-run operation. Rain-delay makeups, doubleheaders and tournament weekends can push a recap back a day or two. We would rather file it late and accurate than guess at a box score.

No. Coverage is editorial. We report what happened on the field, including the losses, and we do not run betting, wagering or quick-money content of any kind.
Send the correction and we will fix it. Parents, scorekeepers and coaches catch most of our errors, and we would rather hear it from you than leave it standing.
