CORTLAND, NY – The Crush extended their winning streak to five after topping the Silversmiths 11-1 (7 inn.).
The team’s bats were firing, scoring 11 runs on 14 hits. Garrett Bell and Chase Cummins were incredible on the bump combining for seven innings allowing zero earned runs, four hits, and punching out 12.
Nick Mahar went 4-for-5 with two RBI while Evan O’Rourke collected another three hit day. Jake Freed, Nick Ianniello, and Sean Moynihan Jr. each collected two hits. Moynihan led the team with four RBI highlighted by a bases clearing triple.
Cortland (15-8) will host the Syracuse Salt Cats tomorrow in a doubleheader with game one beginning at 3 p.m.
